DIY Project : LITTLE EXPLORERS ACTIVITY BOX

Pasukan na naman!

And although my son is just 2 years old, I am excited to teach him na.
He has a delayed speech and we want to help him improve his communicating skills.

So far, he knows how to say his name. He's saying it "nas" rather than Lance. But it's cute right? Because he is trying.

I am glad that he can already distinguish different colors, he can count to ten (not alone, though), he knows his abc and finally he can already say "Mommy"!

At his young age, I can see that he is interested in reading and writing. He loves 101 dalmatians and he likes scribbling (everywhere, yes even at the floor and on his skin!).

I am a guilty user of screen time especially when I have a lot of things to do. So, I regret that he is now more attached with Shaun the Sheep, Peppa pig, Mr. Bean and Oscar Oasis than with his books and toys.

So I wanna make bawi to him. I wanted my weekends to be our homeschool-playschool-days! Sounds fun, right?

To start with the plan, I've read some tips about homeschooling and I've searched for activities that will suit his age and his high-spirit.

Luckily, I have found this website that has somewhat like a curriculum for kids of different ages.

When I saw the list of activities, the creative side of my brain suddenly got me an idea.

This project I call LITTLE EXPLORERS ACTIVITY BOX.

It's made of baby Yobbie's big milk boxes, empty toilet paper roll and paper cup + a plastic container to store his crayons and sharpener.

So this is how it looks like:

Sorry for the wrapper though, we only see happy birthday gift wrappers at the grocery store e. ;)

I just need to print the labels and then it's all set.

Ready for school? :)
